Analog signals can be produced in any form. These signals can be in a form of audio, current, voltage, light, pressure and etc. Electronic circuits or equipment that used several analog input signals at same time uses a multiplexer or sometimes called “multiplexor” to incorporate several signals into one output signal. The reference design is an analog multiplexer that uses MUX509IPWR from Texas Instrument. The evaluation board is an existing board previously feature MUX36D04. This board is compatible with MUX509IPWR. The MUX509IPWR is modern, complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS), analog multiplexers (MUXs) which offer differential 4:1 (8:2) channels. Read more
